The Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE) published the UNE 19602 standard on tax compliance management systems, which established the requirements and guidelines to adopt, implement and maintain a tax compliance management system to help prevent and effectively manage tax risks.

Tax compliance aims to minimise an organization’s exposure to tax risks by establishing training, controls, and reporting breaches or substantiating suspicions of non-compliance.

This system must be certified by an independent third party to ensure that it is applied correctly and effectively. It can be used to demonstrate the organisation’s willingness to comply with the rules and thus avoid both administrative and criminal sanctions.

We can implement a tax compliance management system for your organisation. Every day, more organisations – Particularly those of a certain size – expect the entities with which they have business or professional relations have a tax compliance system in place. Therefore, without such a system, the opportunity to collaborate with a company may be lost and the relationship will end to avoid risks.
